The theme of this Saturday's photohunt is Water
This is my favorite hand-made water fountain in Christchurch, New Zealand. I love the spherical shaped water which looks like a blossom. Oh, how I love the natural beauty of the water which comes in different shades of blue and turquoise overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

Photohunt : Emotion(s)
The theme of this Saturday's photohunt is Emotion(s)
I cropped from the picture of my father-in-law carrying one of his great grandsons at a local restaurant about a couple of months ago. What is the emotion of this lovely baby?

Breast Cancer Awareness June 2008
8 millions clicks are required for the month of June to support free mammograms funding.
I've been tagged by Mariuca to help spread the ‘Breast Cancer Awareness’ month of June. Please help convey the importance of regular examination and early detection of breast cancer so as to maximize the chance of survival and recovery. So in doing my bit to help spread awareness on the issue of breast cancer to women, here are several facts on breast cancer that everyone should know about.
• The first sign of breast cancer usually shows up on a woman's mammogram before it can be felt or any other symptoms are present.
• Risks for breast cancer include a family history, atypical hyperplasia, delaying pregnancy until after age 30 or never becoming pregnant, early menstruation (before age 12), late menopause (after age 55), current use or use in the last ten years of oral contraceptives, and daily consumption of alcohol.
• Early detection of breast cancer, through monthly breast self-exam and particularly yearly mammography after age 40, offers the best chance for survival.
• Ninety-six percent of women who find and treat breast cancer early will be cancer-free after five years.
• Over eighty percent of breast lumps are not cancerous, but benign such as fibrocystic breast disease.
• You are never too young to develop breast cancer! Breast Self-Exam should begin by the age of twenty.
You can help the lives of many women by spreading the word about The Breast Cancer Site by clicking the pink button as many times as you can. If The Breast Cancer Site receives 8 million clicks on the pink button in June, their premier sponsor -Bare Necessities- will donate $10,000 for more free mammograms. CLICK the pink button everyday as many times as you wish to support the donation!
I tag anyone who wish to pass this breast cancer awareness on your blog. Stumble this post if you like to help promote cancer awareness to the blogging community. Thanks.

Stumble Upon Meme
Maruica has tagged me with a new meme. I think this is a good time to rediscover new sites by participating in this meme.
It is possible to increase the traffic to your blog through StumbleUpon. So I have decided to participate, with your help of course. Here is the concept:
Stumble the pages that link to you. In this way you drive more traffic to the page containing your link and thus you hope that some of that traffic comes back to you via the link on that page.
The original tagger has created a Stumble Worthy List for participants to stumble and you can check who stumbles or reviews your post. This meme also helps in your Technorati authority rating.
I would like to invite the following to join me in this fun: Quachee, Susanno, Keeyit, My bug life, Clumsy Mommy, Wild Cats Three, Meghna, and anybody else who wish to participate. See the complete RULES below and have a great weekend! :)
Here are the rules:
1. Copy from "START COPYING HERE" to "STOP COPYING HERE".
2. Add your site(s) to the list. Just be sure to post the "StumbleWorthy List" at each site you add.
3. Let me know your blog’s name and url by leaving me a comment HERE. I will add you to the master list.
4. Come back and copy the master list back to your site, often. This will allow the new comers to achieve equal benefit as the late comers do.
5. Register in StumbleUpon and install the toolbar.
6. Go to the sites found on the list and give them a thumb up (I like it!).
7. Add Blanne as your friend in StumbleUpon (optional). Note: Your url will be deleted in the Master List if you do not comply to the given rules.PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD! TELL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT THE LIST. OR CLICK HERE TO GET A BANNER THAT YOU CAN PUT ON YOUR BLOG. THE MORE PARTICIPANTS, THE GREATER INCREASE IN TRAFFIC! :)

Random Questions Meme
I have been tagged with this meme to answer 20 random questions. My participation is to share more about myself with my readers. Answering the questions is not a problem for me. More often than not, I do not know who to tag. If you are being tagged by me, I appreciate your participation. However, the choice is entirely yours.
Tagged! Random Questions
Instruction: Remove ONE from below and add in your own personal question, make it a total of 20 questions. Then, tag 8 people in your list and list them out in the end of this post. Notify them in their chat box that he/she has been tagged. Whoever does the tag will have blessings from all.
The person who tagged you is: quachee
1. What's your favorite book at the present time?
As I am preparing for the CPA exam, Financial Accounting and Reporting is the section I am currently reviewing and it has to be my present favorite.
2. Given the chance, what special ability/power would you like to have?
To be able to master the piano and play songs in the church.
3. What's your favorite color? Why?
Beige, because it is an earthly tone and quite neutral.
4. Where is the place you want to go the most?
I have been to quite a few. For now I want to go to Cancun, Mexico and I will be there on the first weekend of April. Woo hoo!
5. If you have one dream to come true, what would it be?
More people would have a close relationship with Jesus.
6. Do you believe in seeing a rainbow after the rain?
Yes, I have seen it several times. The first one appeared after the great flood which is a promise that God would not send the same flood Noah’s Ark went through.
7. Do you think friends are important?
Absolutely.
8. If you win $1 million, what would you do?
In order of importance, invest for retirement, support mission works and vacation.
9. If you meet someone that you love, would you confess to him/her?
I’m not sure. It’s not my style to go after a man. Only after 3 years I had known my husband, that I confessed I love him when he told me that he loves me unconditionally and meant every word he said in the marriage vow that very day.
10. List out 3 good points of the person who tagged you.
Determined, Innovative, Talented
11. Which type of person do you hate the most?
Oppressive
12. What is your ambition?
To be a licensed CPA.
13. If you have fault, would you rather the people around you point out to you or would you rather they keep quiet?
Let me know so that I can correct myself and be a better person.
14. What do you think is the most important thing in your life?
Since the word “thing” is used, I cannot say God is a thing. The most important thing then is my happy marriage which is God centered.
15. Are you a shopaholic or not?
When I lived in Malaysia, I was because most of my friends and relatives shopped with me for all kinds of things. In the U.S, I’m probably not because I normally shop with my husband and we tend to shop for things we need rather than random shopping.
16. What is the one thing you like about your country?
In Malaysia, it’s the food; most of them are so good. In the U.S., it’s the education that is based on merits and I had scholarship awards every year while I was in college.
17. If you have a chance, which part of your character you would like to change?
Speak in the right tone. I either speak too loud with excitement which sometimes get a drawing brow signal, or too soft that my audience cannot hear.
18. Is there anything that you have done which you regret?
As a human being, I do make mistakes which are OK. I treat my mistakes as a learning experience and learn not to make the same mistake twice. It doesn’t accomplish anything by regretting.
19. What makes you different?
I believe every human being is simply unique and different, and so am I. You won't find another person with exactly the same attributes and behavior as me.
20. How often do you watch T.V.? What is your favorite T.V. programme?
I usually watch news and the weather channel as often as I work out on the treadmill.
I hope to know more about the following bloggers and would like to tag them to read their answers to the random questions. Have fun guys!

Love and Hate
Colin from grottynosh tagged me for this meme: state a small list of what you love and hate.
I love:
1- God - being a Christian, I love Jesus.
2- My marriage - which never grows old.
3- Travel - to learn more about places, people; their customs and cultures.
4- People - I like to help people as a college alumni and through the church. I learn a lot from others too.
5- My hobbies - blogging is my new found hobby which has overtaken all others.
I hate
1- Stress - which sometimes happens in meeting deadline to complete a particular project.
2- Spam e-mails - I delete hundreds of unsolicited e-mails every week.
3- Frogs and Toads - I would scream when I see a frog or toad because of their skin and urine.
4- Durians - Oh, the smell! A Japanese exchange student shared it's like eating something very good in a toilet. Just eat and forget about the smell and burp. I did a research on durian that it is rich in lactic acid bacteria (good bacteria) and is also used as a cure for malaria. I still hate the smell though. The challenge would probably come if I have malaria.
5- Office politics - they are simply unfruitful.
I would like to tag: Meghnak,, Shelly, Lisa, Trinity, Nessa, and Megha. As always, you do not have to participate, it is your choice.
Anyone else who wants to do this please feel free to do so, just leave me a comment please. Thanks.
